Kylesku Slipway was a commissioned painting presented as a gift to a couple in remberance of their visits over a number of years to a favourite holiday spot.
It is a historical view of the area before the bridge construction.

Leith Hall, a rectangular on plan 17th century 3 storey tower house having 18th and 19th-century additions forming a courtyard.
Loch Muick in winter watercolour gives a view of the stark loneliness of the mountains in that area south of Deeside between Ballater and Braemar on the Balmoral Estate.
Loch Shiel with its beauty, light and history was a must to paint as a sympathetic watercolour. The painting was set along the lower length between Moidart and Sunart on a sunny summer day showing the strength of the colours and without the introduction of habitation
The vast mountain of Lochnagar has been a personal challenge to capture in a painting since I first climbed it in 1963.
The challenge was overcome in 2022 when a friend presented me with a photograph of Lochnagar he had recently taken when he was hillwalking.

Oast farm Kent is a watercolour attempt at a winter scene utilising washes for background effect in which to offset the farm itself.
Old Birdham Mill and tidal pond at Birdham Sussex has been a desirable anchorage for centuries. The mill is timber in construction and always an appealing scene for artists.
