Welcome to My Newsletter!

Hello everyone,

A Personal Apology

I wanted to reach out and apologize for the recent silence in your inbox and for any unexpected automatic emails. Preparing for my latest exhibition took more time than anticipated, and I needed a short break afterward. During this time, I’ve created several new paintings that are now ready to be shared.

To make up for the gap, I’ll be sending out a couple of newsletters soon, featuring these new works once they’re published on the website.

Your Reviews Matter

Your reviews mean the world to me. They not only help me understand how my work resonates with you but also inspire future creations and guide others to discover pieces they might love. Sharing your thoughts creates a vibrant community where we can all connect through art.

The Academy, Schoolhill - Aberdeen

The Academy, Schoolhill’ is a calm, detailed watercolour of Aberdeen’s best-loved corner where Schoolhill meets Belmont Street.

The curved granite frontage and copper-tinted dome lead the eye down the sweep of Belmont Street, with church spires beyond.

Painted to feel true to place, it suits both locals and visitors seeking a recognisable city scene.

Discovering Knoydart

A painting of Knoydart
Knoydart, located on Scotland’s west coast, is one of the country’s last great wilderness areas. Isolated and untamed, it offers breathtaking views of rugged mountains, deep valleys, and pristine shorelines.

Known for its rich history and dramatic landscapes, Knoydart has been home to many Scottish clans and remains a place of natural beauty and solitude.

My watercolour painting seeks to capture the ever-changing light, the contrast between land and sea, and the wild energy that defines this special place.

With layers of delicate washes and careful attention to detail, I aimed to bring the essence of Knoydart to life on canvas.

Whether you’ve visited or dream of going, I hope this painting transports you to its serene beauty.

Potarch Bridge – Capturing Tranquillity in Paint

In my watercolour of Potarch Bridge I hope to capture the historic charm of the bridge, nestled in the heart of Aberdeenshire.

Using a limited palette, I've focused on the intricate stonework and the serene natural surroundings to bring this iconic Scottish landmark to life.

Aylesford Bridge (Original)

Ayelsbury Bridge
Nestled along the banks of the River Medway, Aylesford is a picturesque village. The timeless charm and natural beauty have inspired countless artists to capture its essence on canvas, and it is with great pleasure that I present my watercolour painting of Aylesford Bridge.

Iona Abbey (Original)

Iona Abbey is on the island of Iona, just off the Isle of Mull on the West Coast of Scotland.

It is one of the oldest Christian religious centres in Western Europe.
