Using the Favourites Feature

Keep track of your favourite artworks

Love a painting but want to revisit it later? Our Favourites feature lets you save individual pieces as you browse—then view them all in one place, at your own pace or as an automatic slideshow.

Accessing Your Favourites

• From the Home Page:
  • Click the Your Favourites button.
  • If you haven’t selected any favourites yet, instructions will appear to help you get started.
  • To add favourites, visit individual painting pages.
• From a Painting
  • Click binoculars (View Favourites) button

Returning to the Paintings

• Click John Gerrie Artwork to return to the home page.
• Scroll down to browse recent paintings.
• Click on a painting to view details.

Adding Paintings to Favourites

• Under the painting title, press the + button to add the painting to your favourites

• Once added, the button changes to a green –. Click this to remove the painting from favourites.

• To view your collection, press the binoculars (View Favourites) button.
• To continue browsing, click a favourite painting’s title or use the Previous and Next buttons.
• Keep adding favourites or navigate through paintings easily.

Viewing a Slideshow

• Click View Slideshow to start an automatic slideshow of your favourite paintings.

• By default, each painting is displayed for 5 seconds.

• Adjust slideshow position using the scroll bars.
• On mobile devices, resize the slideshow by pinching or expanding the screen or by rotating your device.
• To change slideshow timing, press Pause, adjust the delay, and then press Play to continue.

Manual Slideshow

• Prefer to browse at your own speed?
• Press Pause
• Use the arrows on either side of the screen to navigate manually through your favourites.

Returning to Card View

• Press the Show Cards button to return to the card display.

Viewing Available Features

• Press the Show Features button to see all available features.
• Press the button again to hide the list.

Viewing Large Images

• Click on any card’s image to view a full-sized version in a new tab.
