New Features for October
I have added a few new features to the website this month, and some improvements to existing features.
Accessibility Tools

This is the icon at the top left of the screen. It gives people with impaired vision some tools to adjust their screen to suit their needs.
It also offers everyone the option to view their screen with a larger font or view the paintings in black and white, or change to a light background colour.
You can use this feature to preview my paintings in black and white. You can see some examples here, and request black and white paintings if this is your preference.
Virtual Tour
I am in the process of updating the videos on the category pages. They showed a slideshow of the paintings in each of the painting categories. The upgraded version provides a virtual tour where my virtual assistant provides some commentary as each painting is displayed. If you don’t like the commentary, you have the option to turn the volume off.
The first tour is for the castles. You can see a link on the category page, or go directly to the post for this feature. This upgrade is a work in progress.
There is also a brief description of how to view the gallery if you would rather do this for yourself. If you don’t want the initial description, then you can skip straight to the tour using the timestamps.
How To Archive Page
The how-to menu item was beginning to get too long, so I have included all the how-to videos on an archive page which is accessible from the ‘How To’ menu option on the navigation bar at the top of each page.
The archive page gives a brief description of each ‘how to’ article, and clicking the title provides a link to the main article.
This new format for an archive page is layed out to make the summary clearer and easier to read. This format is also used on the ‘News Articles’ option on the navigation bar.
I hope you like the new format.
Select Paintings by Season
When you are browsing the paintings you can select seasonal paintings from the menu in the side bar.

Galleries And Latest Paintings
The galleries on the website have been brought up to date with the latest paintings. You can access these from the navigation menu. The paintings appear in a random order which will offer a fresh look each time you access them.

The latest paintings pages have been given a facelift, and now show all my work in reverse order by the date paintings were added to the website. This will allow you to see the development of my style over time.

Newspaper Style
This page has a newspaper like layout in a landscape view. Hopefully you find it easier to read longer articles with this style.
Feedback
I want to make your experience on the website as good as it can be. So if you have any comments good or bad I would encourage you to provide feedback.
You can leave comments below, or use the contact form if you prefer.
